Yoga is an amazing form of exercise and provides mindfulness when done correctly. I have been a student of yoga for over 15 years and have always felt pretty aware of how my hips interact when doing certain yoga poses (asanas). I have always focused on strength over flexibility, but there are many that incorrectly view flexibility as the prize.
